A Border Museum near the former East German town of Sorge reminds visitors of the division of Germany into East and West. Located in the Harz Mountains, original parts of the former border are on display, including sections of the signal and border fence, the dog run, a reinforced border post, the patrol road made of concrete slabs, and a watchtower.
