Artist's Description

Flowing 1,785 miles (2,872 kilometers) from Germany’s Black Forest to the Black Sea, the Danube River is Europe’s second longest. It passes through four capital cities and 10 countries, the drainage basin includes parts of nine more countries. The wetlands of the Danube Delta have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991.
