Artist's Description
Stretching approximately 750 Miles (1,200 kilometers) across eight countries, the Alps are one of the great mountain ranges in Europe. Reaching 9,432 feet (2,875 meter), the Schneefernerkopf is located in the Zugspitze massif. It is the second highest mountain in Germany. However, due to its proximity to the Zugspitze, some folks argue that its not an indeependent mountain.
