Located only 15 miles (24 kilometers) from downtown Atlanta, the 2,549 acres Sweetwater Creek State Park offers 9 miles (14 kilometers) of hiking trails. The main attraction, however, is Sweetwater Creek, a 45.6-mile-long (73.4 kilometers) stream, featuring many cascading waterfalls.
