Located in the Chattahoochee National Forest in Georgia, USA, the DeSoto Falls are named for Spanish explorer Hernando deSoto. A a 2.4-mile (3.9 kilometer) trail follows Frogtown Creek and guides visitors to the three waterfalls in the Desoto Falls Scenic Area.
