Description
Amicalola Falls is an 829 acre (3.35 square kilometer) State Park in Georgia, USA. The biggest attraction is a 729 foot (222 meter) waterfall, the highest in Georgia. To the Cherokee, it is simply known as "tumbling waters". The park also provides access to Springer Mountain, the southern end (or starting point) of the approximately 2,200 mile (3,500 kilometer) long Appalachian Trail.
